The newest location of local burger spot is set to open in Grant Park next month.
Owner Alex Brounstein announced the latest Grindhouse Killer Burgers will open at 701 Memorial Drive will open April 2.
Brounstein broke ground on the location in February 2017 . The space was previously occupied by Bar One nightclub, owned by "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Cynthia Bailey's husband Peter Thomas , who made frequent appearances on the show.
Bar One vacated the spot in 2014, and Grindhouse announced it would take over in 2015.
This will be Grindhouse's seventh location — the popular burger concept most recently opened in Decatur and also has locations in Sweet Auburn Curb Market, on Piedmont Avenue, two franchise locations at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and another location in Athens.
Expect a menu at the Grant Park eatery similar to the Grindhouses, including a variety of burgers (including the Impossible Burger, the 'veggie burger that bleeds' ), sides, shakes and a selection of beer, wine and cocktails.
