The storied Clermont Lounge recently reopened its doors , and the boutique hotel bearing its name is set to do the same next year,  complete with a brand new restaurant.

Hotel Clermont -- previously the Clermont Motor Hotel -- will open in spring 2018 at 789 Ponce de Leon Ave NE along with American-French brasserie Tiny Lou's. Helmed by executive chef Jeb Aldrich and Hotel Clermont director of restaurants Nick Hassiotis, the spot will be managed by the Charleston-based Indigo Road Hospitality Group, which will oversee all food and beverage for the hotel (and also owns Atlanta restaurants O-Ku and Donetto and Avalon spots Oak Steakhouse and Colletta).

Named for Tiny Lou, a popular dancer at Clermont Motor Hotel’s Gypsy Room in the 1950s, the restaurant will offer a menu with French dishes with Southern accents including Blue Ridge trout almondine with haricot vert, capers, cipollini and almond milk; braised short rib with red wine salsify, bone marrow macaire, baby carrots, lacinato kale and banyuls bordelaise; steak frites utilizing Snake River Farms wagyu flank with house frites topped with sauce de L’clermont; and escargot.

The 100-seat Tiny Lou's will also offer a "Francophile approved" wine list.

In addition to Tiny Lou's, Hotel Clermont will also feature a lobby cafe by day, cocktail lounge by night and a rooftop bar with a small food menu.
