Treat yourself to an inexpensive smoothie today, courtesy of a new Brookhaven spot.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe opened today at Town Brookhaven, and is offering 99-cent smoothies all day to celebrate (limit one per person).

Owned by franchisees Cuyler and Diane Esposito, the 1,831-square-foot café features an island-inspired atmosphere and a menu offering made-to-order fruit smoothies, toasted sandwiches, flatbreads, wraps and salads.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe has more than 515 locations nationwide, including several in the metro Atlanta area.

The eatery is the latest restaurant to open at Town Brookhaven, following the openings earlier this year of Jefe's Tacos & Tequila and Tin Can Oyster Bar.
