Make it a family night out at these restaurants, which allow kids to "design" their meal, provide crayons for coloring, puzzles for entertainment or will substitute an ingredient just for your little one.
Pizza Crosta: Kids can make their own pizza at this family-friendly restaurant in Sandy Springs. For a $2 fee, dough is brought out along with a mini buffet of toppings. While table side, kids can help roll the dough then top with ingredients such as cheese, sauce, and more. This chef-in-the making experience is also budget-friendly; the total cost, inclusive of a beverage, is $10.
Braves All Star Grill: Hit family night out of the park at this restaurant's new downtown location. Besides the special kids menu, which features faves like beef sliders, chicken tenders, hot dogs, mac and cheese and a quesadilla, this restaurant is outfitted with all things baseball—Braves memorabilia, authentic stadium seating, an apparel shop and a real pitching cage.

Egg Harbor Café: Kids 12 and under can order from the Little Chicks menu, which includes regular or gluten-free itsy bitsy pancakes, French toast fingers and the breakfast of champions—rainbow pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage links and bacon strips. And, to date, everything on the Little Chicks menu is under $6. While waiting for the food to be brought out, little ones can complete puzzles like Tic Tac Toast or enter the Egg Drawing contest. Crayons are provided, and parents don't have to worry about clean up time.
Twisted Soul: There isn't a specific kids menu here, but this restaurant in Decatur does a great job of hosting families inside or on the back patio. On Sundays, the favored item is the Springer Mountain-raised chicken and vanilla bean waffles. Instead of the bourbon maple syrup, little ones are served good ole fashioned plain syrup.
