Tuesday, Feb. 13: Celebrate Fat Tuesday with the second annual Mardi Gras On The Square hosted by Colony Square Plaza from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. The New Orleans-themed lunchtime party will feature classic hurricanes provided by the Sunshine Alchemy drink truck, food from the Louisiana Purchase food truck and complimentary king cake courtesy Louisiana Tourism. Live brass musical performances and a visit from the Louisiana Tourism group, who will offer guests a chance to enter and win a trip for two to celebrate Mardi Gras in 2019, will round out the festivities. Tuesday, Feb. 13: Get a little taste of New Orleans at Hugo's Oyster Bar 's Fat Tuesday party with food and drinks specials from 7-10 p.m. Dining deals will include $3 Abita beers, $10 SoCo hurricanes, crispy gator bites, barbecue shrimp and, of course, king cake. Wednesday, Feb. 14: Still in the market for Valentine's Day dinner plans? Head to Bar Margot at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta for a four-course dinner featuring octopus terrine with preserved lemon, king crab with fennel and satsuma, flat iron steak with potato pave plus a delicious dessert presentation.
