Things to do

Atlanta distillery tours

If dad is all about eating locally, we're pretty sure he's also into drinking locally. Take him on a Saturday afternoon booze cruise around Atlanta's distilleries. Grab a Lyft and start the afternoon off in Decatur at Independent Distilling for samples of aged and white rum and their signature Hellbender bourbon. Next head over to the Old Fourth Ward to tour and taste your way through Atlanta's first vodka, gin, and Lawn Dart ginger-lemon liqueur at Old Fourth Distillery. Finally, finish the day in the beautiful tasting room at ASW Distillery with samples of Fiddler bourbon, single malt whiskey and apple brandy. Guided tours include samples and a souvenir bottle of spirits to take home from each distillery. Tour times and prices vary. Check each distillery's website for individual tour details.
