Attention, artistes -- you'll be able to find an outlet for your creative skills and get a sweet treat to boot when Da Vinci's Donuts opens in Dunwoody this fall.

As first reported by Atlanta Magazine, the store at 1447 Dunwoody Village Parkway will be the third Da Vinci's location -- there are also spots in Alpharetta and Sandy Springs -- and the first franchise location.

The design-your-own-donut line was started by Melissa Rudd and her husband, Andy, who said they always knew they wanted to franchise.

"We wanted to generate a community feel, and by having local ownership, people from the community who are there and operating, it's a much better experience," Andy said.

The franchisee, Ryan Boon, frequented Da Vinci's before deciding to buy in. The Dunwoody location is set to open this fall.
