Customers will still be able to get a taste of Cuban classics at Havana's original location at 2905 Buford Hwy NE in Brookhaven.

The original Havana Sandwich Shop was opened in 1976 by the Benedit family. In 2008, a fire destroyed the original location and owner Debbie Benedit and her son Eddie Jr. opened the second location in 2009. The Benedits were able to reopen the original sandwich shop location in 2015.
