If you fancy yourself a bit of an artiste when it comes to food, a new concept coming to North Fulton County will be right up your alley.

Build-your-own cupcake spot Create Your Cupcake will open its doors in Sandy Springs on April 13, and will feature more than 1,000 flavor combinations and a separate gluten-free bakery.
Developed by Stephen Hart and his wife, Barbara, whose grandfather founded the Sherwin Baking Company in Ohio in 1919, Create Your Cupcake also uses a special baking method to produce cupcakes with hollowed-out centers, allowing customers to choose their own fillings. Customers can also choose their type of cake, frosting and toppings, making the possibility of carrot cake with peanut butter frosting or red velvet cake with Nutella filling a reality.
Cupcakes will be available in-store and for local and national delivery.
A grand opening celebration open to the public will be held from 3-5 p.m. April 13 and will include complimentary cupcake tastings, tours of the bakery and giveaways.
