Restaurant news and events

Several new food and drink businesses have signed on as tenants as part of Studioplex's second phase of development. The complex at 659 Auburn Ave., right off the Beltline's Eastside trail, will also feature a new connection from the Beltline to the Studioplex campus. The complex will be be home to Beetnix Juice Bar, serving juices cold-pressed on site; a craft cocktail, apertif and coffee bar from the team behind Ponce City Market's 18.21 Bitters; and the first Atlanta location of Hawkers Asian Street Fare, a Florida startup offering street food from across Southeast Asia including baos, skewers and stir-fried noodles.

Columbia Ventures LLC, the company behind the Studioplex expansion, also oversees the Spoke development in Reynoldstown and E.Co in Decatur.
