A new restaurant from the team behind a popular downtown Lawrenceville restaurant have opened a steakhouse next door.

Steve and Jo Green and their daughter, Taylor Ray Green, opened T-Ray's Fire Grill yesterday at 125 W. Crogan St.. The Greens also own neighboring Oyster Bar Seafood Cafe and O'Shucks Seafood in Loganville.

T-Ray’s menu features a variety of steaks sourced from Buckhead Beef Co. as well as dishes including grilled poblano chicken, escargot, scallop risotto, salads, sandwiches and burgers.

The restaurant also boasts a 25-foot wraparound bar -- dubbed T-Ray’s Ice Bar -- with blue LED lights. The bar offers a drink menu that includes custom cocktails, martinis and dessert cocktails, as well as a tapas menu with dishes including bacon-wrapped scallops, reuben rolls, pulled pork sliders and smothered sausage. The Ice Bar and tapas menus are available until 1:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

T-Ray’s is open from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
