Cheap eats: Tapas are $5 at this Midtown restaurant weekdays

Five bucks can go far during happy hour.

Guests can nosh on menu items like ham croquettes, crispy potato cubes with sauce, Andalusian gazpacho or potato tortilla, a traditional Spanish omelet with caramelized onions and garlic aioli,  for $5 at the bar at Bulla Gastrobar weekdays 5-7 p.m. For those who can ante up three extra bucks, tapas like sautéed garlic shrimp, a kale salad and veal and pork meatballs are $8 each.
