Celebrate Halloween at these metro Atlanta bars and restaurants

Anderby Brewing. Help the brewery celebrate its grand opening with a Halloween festival from noon-5 p.m. Oct. 26 featuring food, beer, games, prizes, arts and crafts activities and live music.

Atkins Park. This Virginia-Highland bar is celebrating in a variety of ways. On Oct. 24, Atkins Park taps its cellared keg of 2018 Southern Tier Warlock and will host pumpkin carving for prizes. Return on Oct. 26 for an annual Halloween bash with music from DJ Padron starting at 10 p.m. and drink features from Jack Daniels. The Virginia-Highland neighborhood presents its Kids Candy Crawl on Oct. 29, and Atkins Park will offer free kids meals to children in costume with an adult entrée purchase. The bar will also show "Hocus Pocus" on a projector at 8 p.m., and kids can bob for apples to win prizes. Later that evening, adults will watch "Scream" and participate in apple bobbing for a chance to win Jack Apple/Jack Fire prizes. On Oct. 31, guests can come dressed for a Halloween costume contest and vie for $500 in prizes while enjoying drink features from Cutwater Spirits.

Cooks & Soldiers. Head to West Midtown from 4-6 p.m. Oct. 27 for a Paella and Pumpkin event to benefit the Giving Kitchen. Tickets are $25 and  include one pumpkin, carving tools and a plate of paella, as well as drink specials. The restaurant's happy hour menu and drink specials will be available a la carte until 6 p.m., and the full menu will be available at 5 p.m.
