Celebrate Halloween at these metro Atlanta bars and restaurants

Ready for a spooky good time? Check out Halloween parties and events happening at bars and restaurants around metro Atlanta.

5Church. Check out the views from 5Church, which is hosting a Halloween party on its rooftop from 8 p.m.- 2 a.m. Oct. 26.

Anderby Brewing. Help the brewery celebrate its grand opening with a Halloween festival from noon-5 p.m. Oct. 26 featuring food, beer, games, prizes, arts and crafts activities and live music.

Atkins Park. This Virginia-Highland bar is celebrating in a variety of ways. On Oct. 24, Atkins Park taps its cellared keg of 2018 Southern Tier Warlock and will host pumpkin carving for prizes. Return on Oct. 26 for an annual Halloween bash with music from DJ Padron starting at 10 p.m. and drink features from Jack Daniels. The Virginia-Highland neighborhood presents its Kids Candy Crawl on Oct. 29, and Atkins Park will offer free kids meals to children in costume with an adult entrée purchase. The bar will also show “Hocus Pocus” on a projector at 8 p.m., and kids can bob for apples to win prizes. Later that evening, adults will watch “Scream” and participate in apple bobbing for a chance to win Jack Apple/Jack Fire prizes. On Oct. 31, guests can come dressed for a Halloween costume contest and vie for $500 in prizes while enjoying drink features from Cutwater Spirits.

Bar Mercado. Learn to make red, rose and white sangria at Bar Mercado’s class at 7 p.m. Oct. 31. Tickets are $35 and also include light bites and recipe cards. Costumes are encouraged, and the staff favorite wines a bottle of Bar Mercado sangria.

Cooks & Soldiers. Head to West Midtown from 4-6 p.m. Oct. 27 for a Paella and Pumpkin event to benefit the Giving Kitchen. Tickets are $25 and  include one pumpkin, carving tools and a plate of paella, as well as drink specials. The restaurant’s happy hour menu and drink specials will be available a la carte until 6 p.m., and the full menu will be available at 5 p.m.

Double Zero. Learn how to make scary good Neapolitan pizza as well as cocktails. at 6 p.m. Oct. 31. Tickets are $49 which also includes dough to take home. Guests who come to the class dressed in costume will receive a free gift.

Georgia Beer Garden. The Georgia Beer Garden transforms into the Georgia Blood Garden for screenings of scary movies from Oct. 29-31, including “Silence of the Lambs,” “What We Do in the Shadows” and “Blade.” $14 gets you a reserved seat, a themed cocktail and snack, plus a few extras.

Haven. Head to Brookhaven from 7-10 p.m. Oct. 30 for a Halloween Patio Party. Tickets are $35 and include seasonal bites from the Big Green Egg including Sliced Brisket, Pulled Pork Sandwiches and Grilled Scallops and Shrimp alongside a variety of sides and a selection of beer and wine as well as live music from local cover band Grose, Hill & Callahan and a costume contest. The Iberian Pig. Get out your magnifying glass at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 31 at Iberian Pig’s third annual murder mystery dinner and a show. Urban Tree Cidery. The cidery is pairing up with NerdLanta at 7 p.m. Oct. 30 to host a screening of “Night of the Living Dead,” and guests can play “Night of The Living Dead’ bingo during the film for a chance to win prizes.
