One more piece of the puzzle is coming together for JP Atlanta . The fine-dining restaurant slated to open in December at 230 Peachtree  in downtown Atlanta, has named its executive chef. Julio Delgado will take charge of culinary operations at the restaurant, which makes its home in the Hotel Indigo. Both the restaurant and hotel are part of the mixed-used development property that is currently under renovation.

At JP Atlanta, Delago will put a spotlight on new American cuisine. The restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and a late-night service at the bar. According to a page on the Hotel Indigo website, JP Atlanta will offer “an exciting menu focused on classic cooking styles, but with modern elements and fresh local ingredients.”

Delgado, a native Puerto Rican, most recently served as executive chef of Château Élan Winery & Resort at Braselton in North Georgia. A veteran of the Ritz-Carlton, he has held posts at a number of the luxury hotel’s properties, including as executive chef of The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta; executive sous chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead and as fine dining chef at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga.
