A high-profile steakhouse concept whose opening has been delayed, along with a rooftop bar, has finally announced an opening date at Shops Buckhead Atlanta.

LDV Hospitality announced American Cut Steakhouse and Regent Cocktail Club will open their doors after Labor Day.

American Cut Buckhead will feature a multi-level dining with a lounge and bar on the first level, a 125-seat main dining room on the second level and two private dining rooms and an indoor/outdoor roof deck bar. The menu features dishes including the chili lobster, pastrami spiced ribeye and Tomahawk Chop steak from chef Marc Forgione (who appeared on the reality cooking show “Iron Chef”).

Also slated for a post-Labor Day opening is Regent Cocktail Club, a seasonal rooftop terrace bar above American Cut. The 5,000-square-foot space will serve craft cocktails and feature live music.

The opening date for American Cut comes after a series of delays involving liens on the property .

In November 2015, John Meadow, president and founder of LDV, said the company was in the process of resolving the liens and was still planning to move ahead with American Cut.

“I am committed to Atlanta 100 percent,” Meadow said. “We are thrilled with the financial and overall results in our Dolce opening. That merits a certain amount of focus before jumping on to American Cut.” LDV is also in the midst of opening other concepts in other cities, with six other projects besides American Cut Atlanta in the pipeline.

“We are eager and excited for Atlanta. We’re in no race. We are about doing it right,” Meadow said.

LDV also owns and operates four other American Cut locations in New York, New Jersey and Puerto Rico, as well as Dolce Italian and Corso Coffee at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta.
