AMER, the new cocktail bar from partners Brian Lewis and the late David Durnell of Atlanta's Bocado restaurant , is set to open on Thursday at 299 North Highland Ave. in the Inman Quarter mixed-use development in Inman Park.
Shanna Mayo, formerly of Victory Sandwich Bar, SOS Tiki Bar and Leon's Full Service , will serve as partner GM and bar manager, and oversee a menu that includes some 20 house cocktails, plus selections of beer, wine, aperitifs and digestifs.
Bocado chef Adam Waller will curate the bar snacks and small plates menu, which features the likes of house-made chips with caramelized onion dip and crispy garlic, and hamachi with grapefruit vinaigrette, beet, radish, sorrel and Georgia olive oil.
AMER will be open 5 p.m.-1 a.m. Tuesdays-Thursdays, 5 p.m.- 2 a.m. Fridays and 3 p.m.- 2 a.m. Saturdays, and be closed Sundays and Mondays.
