Buckhead art dealer Bill Lowe indicted on conspiracy, theft charges

Sept 10, 2015A long-time Atlanta art dealer is facing criminal theft and racketeering charges. A Fulton County grand jury indicted Bill Lowe of Buckhead's Bill Lowe Gallery on Friday, Channel 2 Action News is reporting.
Lowe is accused of unlawfully withholding sale proceeds of artwork in excess of $300,000, according to the indictment.
Channel 2 Action News started investigating after the Atlanta Police Department’s major fraud unit raided Lowe's gallery, then located in Midtown, in 2013. Bill Lowe Gallery has operated for more than two and a half decades.
