Apparently already enjoying happy holidays, the Atlanta Botanical Garden has announced that it is extending "Garden Lights, Holiday Nights" one week, now through Jan. 10. The holiday light show has drawn 10,000-plus more visitors that it did during the same stretch (through Dec. 15) last year, when it attracted more than 160,000 over its entire run.

Attendance for "Garden Lights," featuring more than 1.5 million LED lights throughout the 30-acre Midtown attraction, shouldn't be hurt by USA Today this week naming it one of the 10 best U.S. public light displays. (Fantasy in Lights at Callaway Gardens, roughly an hour south of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Pine Mountain, also made the list.)
