Currently, the temperature in Atlanta is 55 degrees and temps are expected to fall into the 40s overnight, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Tuesday temps are expected to be warmer than average.

And we'll have some more fog to track again Tuesday morning, Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said.

Tuesday night into Wednesday, there is a chance for some showers, especially in North Georgia. It will be mainly dry for Atlanta on Thursday, Channel 2 reported.

Looking further ahead, there is a slim chance for a white Christmas.
