Get outside this week as much as possible.

After days of muggy conditions, rain and highs in the 90s, temps are expected to stay in the 80s all week.

Tuesday morning is expected to be dry with crisp air and temperatures in the mid 60s, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Currently, the temperature is 84 degrees in Atlanta and humidity is at 32 percent, Channel 2 reported.

“That low humidity makes it much more comfortable,” Channel 2 meteorologist Brad Nitz said.

The drop in humidity and temperatures arrived as students in Cobb, Henry, Rockdale, Morgan and Putnam counties returned to school. More schools start on Tuesday.

The average high for this time of year is 89.

Showers — and humidity — could return Thursday, when there is a 20 percent chance of rain, according to the news station.

Those showers should keep temperatures down.

Highs are expected to hit 88 again Tuesday, 87 Wednesday and Thursday and 84 Friday, Channel 2 reported.
