After a mild, sunny day Friday and mostly clear skies forecast for Friday night, you can expect spring-like weather this weekend in the metro area.
Highs are forecast to hit 69 degrees Saturday and 71 Sunday, Channel 2 Action News chief meteorologist Glenn Burns said.
Right now we're 15° warmer in Atlanta than we were at this time yesterday. Even warmer this weekend, on @wsbtv at 5p pic.twitter.com/T7WQFXwRZR

“Go ahead and grill this weekend because the temperatures are going to be warm,” Channel 2 meteorologist Karen Minton said.
It’s expected to hit 65 degrees by noon Saturday and reach the high by 3 p.m. There is a 20 percent chance of rain Saturday and a 30 pecent chance Sunday.
“Saturday is probably your better grilling day than Sunday,” Minton said. “But don’t rule it out then, either.”
