Temps are up, there are only a few clouds in sight and the fog that covered parts of metro Atlanta early Friday has finally lifted.

Currently, the temperature is 80 degrees in Atlanta, according to Channel 2 Action News. The expected high is 84.

“And we’ll stay quite warm through 7 o’clock,” Channel 2 meteorologist Brad Nitz said.

The pollen count is 48 particles of pollen per cubic meter of air, down from Thursday’s count of 104, according to Atlanta Allergy and Asthma.

Pollen may drop even lower over the weekend, when there is a 20 percent chance of rain Saturday and Sunday, Channel 2 reported.

Rain chances are expected to jump to 80 percent Monday.

Even with a stray afternoon shower or two, temps could come close to 90 degrees Saturday. Highs are forecast to reach 87 degrees Saturday and 84 degrees Sunday, Channel 2 reported.
