The wind was still creating issues Monday afternoon in metro Atlanta, according to Channel 2 Action News.

While temperatures at 8:30 p.m. were 50 degrees in Atlanta, 42 in Griffin and 30 in Blairsville, breezy conditions made it feel colder.

The winds are calming down and warm weather is expected Tuesday and Wednesday, when highs could hit 66 and 67 degrees, according to Channel 2 Action News.

“It will be staying on the warmer side for a couple of days,” Channel 2 meteorologist Karen Minton said.
