Apologies, allergy sufferers.

Tuesday’s pollen count is 2,587 particles of pollen per cubic meter of air, according to Atlanta Allergy and Asthma. That is the highest it has been all year, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Since Saturday, when the count reached 2,258, pollen levels in metro Atlanta have been in the “extremely high” range.

The count this time last year was 120.

While Tuesday’s count is high, it is nowhere near last year’s season high of 4,107.

Don't let pollen ruin your spring!
