OJ Simpson will appear before a Nevada parole board on Thursday for a hearing that will decide if he is granted parole.

Simpson has served nine years of his nine-to-33-year sentence for a 2007 kidnapping and armed robbery in Las Vegas.

The hearing is expected to begin at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched live on ESPN, HLN and various cable news networks.

Simpson, 70, is expected to appear before the board via video-conference from prison, according to CNN. The former professional football star is expected to speak for 30-45 minutes and then the four board members will deliberate.

Simpson’s attorney Malcolm LaVergne, daughter from his first marriage Arnelle Simpson, sister Shirley Baker and friend Tom Scotto are expected to be in attendance.
