Tennis superstar Serena Williams was reportedly served up a fabulous meal in East Harlem last weekend, but allegedly dropped the ball when it came to a tip.

The New York Daily News report claims that Williams and her entourage dined at Ricardo Steak House Saturday evening. The restaurant's owner, delighted that Williams had chosen his restaurant to dine, reportedly comped the entire $400 meal.

But according to an insider, Williams did not leave a tip or even say thanks for the free meal.

According to the New York Daily News, a representative from the restaurant would not “confirm or deny” details of the story. The paper reached out to Williams’ representatives for a comment, and they did not respond.

Williams is in town for the U.S. Open tournament.
