Kennesaw State ranked fifth in the College Football America 2018 Yearbook Preseason FCS Top 30 released Sunday.

The Owls— reigning Big South Champions— were ranked behind North Dakota State, 2017 FCS national champion James Madison, South Dakota State and Sam Houston State respectively.

In addition to the release of the poll, College Football America also released its all-America team, the FCS Starting Lineup, which included Owls quarterback Chandler Burks, center C.J. Collins and linebacker Bryson Armstrong. The Owls and North Dakota State led the FCS with most players named to the list.
