The Atlanta Hawks are planning to discuss the general manager position with former NBA players Brent Barry and Chauncey Billups, The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Tuesday citing "league sources."

After playing from 1995-2009, Barry is currently an NBA analyst on TNT. Billups joined ESPN as an NBA analyst in 2014 after playing 17 seasons in the NBA. Billups signed a multiyear contract with ESPN and "NBA Countdown" on May 12.

The Hawks are also considering former Detroit Pistons president of basketball operations Joe Dumars, Cleveland Cavaliers general manager David Griffin, New York Knicks director of player personnel Mark Hughs and Houston Rockets president of basketball operations Gersson Rosas, according to The Vertical.

Wojnarowski reported that according to league sources, Houston has granted Atlanta permission to interview Rosas.
