Georgia Tech lands 11th commit in offensive guard Mike Maye

The Georiga Tech recruiting class of 2018 landed its 11th verbal commit on Thursday in offensive guard Mike Maye.

Maye, 6-foot-3, 285 pounds, chose Georgia Tech over South Alabama, according to 247 Sports.

The three-star rising senior at Hoover High School in Hoover, Ala. announced his commitment late Thursday afternoon on Twitter.

"Georgia Tech is a great school with great football and it is an opportunity I couldn't pass up on! Me and my family have decided to pledge commitment to (Georgia Tech)," Maye wrote in part.

Maye was one of two recruits to commit to Georiga Tech on Thursday along with 3-star athlete Jaylon King.
