Freshman Jerry Howard didn’t take long to make his mark for the Yellow Jackets.

With Georgia Tech leading Jacksonville State 23-7 on Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium, Jerry Howard came into the game at B-back for his first career series. After getting stopped for a loss on his first carry, he took his second straight up the middle for a 65-yard touchdown run. Shawn Davis made the extra point to give the Jackets a 30-7 lead with 5:45 remaining in the third quarter.
