Georgia Tech capitalized off another Jacksonville State turnover in the third quarter of Saturday’s game at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

The Yellow Jackets got the ball on the Jacksonville State 29 after safety A.J. Gray recovered a fumble. The Gamecocks defense held strong and the Jackets were forced to try a 41-yard field goal. Shawn Davis put it through, however a roughing-the-kicker call gave the Yellow Jackets new life.

Facing a third-and-9 from the Gamecocks 10, quarterback TaQuon Marshall found J.J. Green in the back of the end zone to put Tech up 23-7 with 8:57 remaining in the third quarter. It was Marshall’s third touchdown pass of the game.
