Falcons defensive end/linebacker Vic Beasley has a slight hamstring tear and is expected to miss at least a month, according to WSB Channel 2’s Zach Klein citing a “NFL league source.”

Beasley played 22 of 76 defensive snaps (29 percent) against the Packers.

He left the game in the third quarter after suffering the injury and did not return.

Beasley, who had a key sack and forced fumble against the Packers, led the league in sacks last season with 15.5. He was named to the All-Pro team and won the Deacon Jones Award, which goes to the league’s top sack master.
