Falcons All-Pro wide receiver Julio Jones was held out of practice in order to rest his knee and shin area on Wednesday.

He participated in the walk-through.

Falcons coach Dan Quinn said that he injured the knee and shin area in the game against the Broncos.

Linebackers Deion Jones, De’Vondre Campbell and Paul Worrilow, all returned to practice and were limited. Also, defensive end Brook Reed (thumb) was limited.

Jones, left guard Andy Levitre (knee/shin) and defensive end Dwight Freeney (not injury related) did not practice.

“I (can see) them moving to full tomorrow,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said. “The exciting thing is that we could have every player back tomorrow in a full regiment. We’ll see how it goes today. We’re on an upswing in terms of the injuries. It’s good to get the guys back.”

Wide receiver Mohamed Sanu (elbow) and cornerback Desmond Trufant (wrist) were listed on the injury report, but fully participated in practice.
