Falcons running back Devonta Freeman, who’s expected to carry most of the rushing load against the Packers on Sunday, has a hip injury and wore black non-contact jersey at practice Wednesday.

He officially was listed as limited in practice.

Running back Tevin Coleman has a hamstring strain and likely is out for Sunday’s game. The Falcons moved up Terron Ward from the practice squad and signed veteran running back Stevan Ridley on Tuesday.

Left tackle Jake Matthews (wrist) and wide receiver Mohamed Sanu (groin) were listed on the injury report, but fully participated in practice.

Wide receiver Taylor Gabriel (concussion) returned to practice and was listed as limited. He’d been in the concussion protocol since taking a big hit from Seattle safety Earl Thomas on Oct. 16.

Cornerback C.J. Goodwin (hamstring) returned to practice and was limited.

Defensive end Dwight Freeney (quadriceps) and Coleman were the only players who did no practice.
