Reed, a former Super Bowl champion and an assistant with the Buffalo Bills, gave Quinn some insight on facing the Patriots.

Asked about how the team - despite all its offensive accolades - had gone through the season underrated, Quinn discussed a "shift" in the team following the 29-28 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs at the Georgia Dome and as they moved into the playoffs.

Listen to what more the coach said about the Falcons’ business approach to the Super Bowl:

Regarding any lack of recognition?

“This is a group that plays for one another,” Quinn added. “The only validation we need is inside our own walls here.”
