Falcons running back Tevin Coleman remains in the NFL concussion protocol, coach Dan Quinn said Thursday.

Also, left guard Andy Levitre (partially torn triceps) will not practice.

“Not that we are aware of at this time,” Quinn said when asked if Levitre may require season-ending surgery.

Ben Garland will start at left guard if Levitre can’t return.

Quinn was pleased with the health of the rest of the team.

“We needed for us to almost have a mini-bye,” Quinn said. “We needed that and benefited from that.”

The Falcons, who last played Dec. 7, play Tampa Bay at 8:30 p.m. Monday at Raymond James Stadium.
