With the additions of a healthy Demond Trufant, rookie Damontae Kazee and a newly contracted Robert Alford, the Atlanta Falcons secondary will be a force to be reckoned with in 2017.

On the NFL.com's list of the NFL's top five secondaries, NFL analyst Ike Taylor ranked the Falcons at the No. 5 spot.

After making it to the Super Bowl with a relatively inexperienced, but talented secondary, the Falcons return all the key players this season.

“I'm most excited to see how third-year pro Jalen Collins and Kazee fit into the mix,” Taylor wrote. “Kazee is one of my favorites and is going to be a sleeper in Year 1. These two are going to be fighting for a lot of time in the slot. Speaking of rookies, Keanu Neal had a helluva rookie season in 2016. He's an old-school safety who's going to be around for a long time.”

The young Falcons defense allowed 25.4 points per game last season (27th in the League) and 266.7 passing yards per game (28th in the League).
