Atlanta Dream guard Layshia Clarendon was named the WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week for her performance from May 13-21.

This is the first Player of the Week honor for Clarendon, a five-year veteran of the WNBA. During May 13-21, Clarendon ranked second in the Eastern Conference with six assists per game, fifth with 16.3 points per game, tied for fifth with a .500 field goal percentage and seventh with .929 free throw percentage (13-of-14).

Dream guard Tiffany Hayes was also a candidate for Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

Sylvia Fowles of the Minnesota Lynx was named WNBA Western Conference Player of the Week.
