Georgia Tech remains firmly lodged in the early time slot. The Yellow Jackets were assigned a 12:30 p.m. kickoff for their game Saturday against North Carolina. The game will be broadcast on the ACC Network, including CW 69 in Atlanta. The ACC made the announcement Sunday after taking a six-day option to wait to decide a kickoff time.

Saturday’s game in Chapel Hill, N.C., will be the seventh time in nine games that the Jackets will kick off at either noon or 12:30 p.m., including the season opener in Dublin against Boston College, which began at 7:30 a.m. local time (12:30 p.m. EDT).

It will be Tech’s third appearance on the ACC Network after the Vanderbilt and Pittsburgh games.

ACC Network affiliates will have the choice between the Tech-North Carolina game and the Pitt-Miami game, which will also kick off at 12:30 p.m.
