Georgia Tech will honor 16 team members playing the final home game of their careers Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Prior to the start of the Tech’s game against Virginia, which kicks off at 12:30 p.m., players and their families will take part in the senior day ceremonies.

“You realize it’s the last time and, like I said, from the time you start recruiting them till now, you’ve spent, the most part, five years with them,” coach Paul Johnson said. “It’s kind of bittersweet. It’s neat to see them move on and hopefully be successful, outside of football for most of them, but it’s still kind of bittersweet.”

The 16 who will be honored Saturday: linebacker Chase Alford, offensive lineman Niko Anderson, B-back Marcus Allen, B-back Ryan Braswell, center Freddie Burden, kicker Harrison Butker, linebacker P.J. Davis, offensive tackle Eason Fromayan, defensive tackle Patrick Gamble, defensive tackle Francis Kallon, A-back Austin McClellan, center Michael Muns, punter Ryan Rodwell, defensive end Roderick Rook-Chungong, quarterback Justin Thomas and A-back Isiah Willis.

“It’s going to be a lot of emotion going into it, my last game at Georgia Tech playing at Bobby Dodd at home,” Davis said. “I’m just going to just try to leave with a great impression. I just want to thank everybody for the opportunity and go from there.”

Fromayan, along with walk-ons Anderson and Braswell, have one year of eligibility remaining but have decided to finish their playing careers this season. Fromayan, who has started seven games this season, is scheduled to graduate in December.
