After verbally committing to Georgia Tech, 3-star cornerback OJ Tucker said Maryland is his favorite college for continuing his football career in 2017, according to 247 Sports' Ahmed Ghafir.

Tucker, a senior from Vanguard High School in Ocala, Fla., received an offer from Maryland on Sept. 13, after verbally committing to become a Yellow Jacket on Aug. 6.

Tucker was the 10th senior to commit to Georgia Tech’s 2017 signing class that currently contains 13 recruits. With Tucker, Tech’s 2017 singing class has five defensive backs including Tre Swilling, Gentry Bonds, Jaytlin Askew and Dameon Williams.

The 6-foot-1, 190 pound cornerback received his offer from Tech on May 19. In addition to Tech and Maryland, Tucker has offers from 19 other colleges including Louisville, Iowa State, Kentucky Nebraska and North Carolina, according to 247 Sports.
