Brewster Academy shooting guard Curtis Haywood II committed to Georgia Tech on Thursday night, becoming the second member of Tech’s 2017 signing class.

Haywood, a 6-foot-4, 187 pound senior in Wolfeboro, NH announced his commitment in a Tweet writing in part, "I've decided to further my basketball career and education at the Georgia Institute of Technology."

Haywood officially visited Tech over the weekend on Dec. 19 and received a coaches visit from Tech coach Josh Pastner on Nov. 23, according to 247 Sports.

From Mustang, Okla., Haywood chose Tech over Illinois State, Mercer, Western Kentucky, Texas, Fresno State, Houston, SMU, Texas Tech and Tulsa.
