Point guard Markylan Freeman received an offer from Georgia Tech basketball on Saturday to join the Yellow Jackets’ 2018 signing class.

Freeman posted about his offer on his Twitter page on Saturday writing "Blessed to receive an offer from Georgia Tech. God is great."

Freeman, a 5-foot-10 recruit from Memphis, Tenn. is a 2-star recruit according to Verbal Commits.

The junior from Southwind High School also has offers from the University of Tennessee- Martin and Sam Houston State.

Freeman finished his sophomore season with the Southwind Jaguars with a 21-11 record, losing to Cordova High School in the first round of AAA Sectionals.
