Indoor practice facilities are the latest battleground in the facilities arms race that has been raging in college football and the SEC in particular. Georgia is the last of the SEC’s 14 teams to commit to building an indoor facility. Georgia unveiled a multipurpose space in Butt-Mehre Hall in 2013 that is big enough for some drills but not a full team practice. Construction on a new $30 million, indoor practice facility could start in January 2016. The facility would be roughly 140 yards long, 80 wide and 65 feet high.
