Georgia Tech guard Parker Braun has been named to the 45-player watch list for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award. The award is given to the top offensive player in Division I who was either born in the state of Texas, attended high school there or attends a Texas junior college or university.

Braun graduated from Hallsville (Texas) High after moving from Florida. Braun started the final eight games of the 2016 season and was named to ESPN’s true freshman All-America team. He also became the first Tech freshman to be named ACC offensive lineman of the week for his play in the Yellow Jackets’ 30-20 upset of Virginia Tech.
