WHAT HE SAID

On what it means to play at Tech: "There's nothing like playing for your home state team, and it really means a lot to me. And it's always been my goal is a little kid, it's my state. And the coaching staff, (cornerbacks coach Joe) Speed, (defensive coordinator Ted) Roof, coach (Paul) Johnson and I have a great relationship."

On if he knew before his official visit to Tech that he wanted to flip: "To be honest, from Day 1 I knew I wanted to go to Georgia Tech. I knew that I would find a way to wait for my official (visit) to flip."

On his relationship with fellow 2017 linebackers T.D. Roof and Bruce Jordan-Swilling: "I talked to (Jordan-Swilling and Roof) after I committed. We just feel like we're going to come in and play our butts off and I feel like I can play beside those guys and I know what you're capable of doing and I know what they're going to do. It means a lot to step on the field with them"
