Marcus Marshall will likely start at B-back for Georgia Tech in Saturday’s game at Georgia.

Though Dedrick Mills will return for a two-game suspension for violating team rules, Johnson said Marshall has played well.

“We haven’t decided but I suspect Marcus to start,” Johnson said.

The sophomore rushed for 127 yards on 16 carries with a touchdown in last week’s 31-17 win over Virginia and 143 yards on 19 carries with a touchdown in the 30-20 win over Virginia Tech two weeks ago. Those were two of the three best performances by a Tech B-back this season.

Marshall has rushed for 569 yards on 87 carries this season after rushing for a team-high 654 yards on 86 carries last season.

Mills, a freshman, has rushed for 578 yards on 114 carries and 10 touchdowns but has missed three games because of two suspensions.
