High school freshman Che Evans from Baltimore, Md. has received a 2020 offer from Georgia Tech coach Josh Pastner on Monday.

Evans' Dulaney High School basketball coach Matt Lochte confirmed Evans' offer from Tech on Twitter among several other reports.

Evans, a 6-foot-6, 195 pound shooting guard, joins Minneapolis, Minn. freshman Jalen Suggs as the high school freshmen who Pastner has extended offers to in his first season as head coach of the Yellow Jackets.

According to an article from The Undefeated’s Jerry Bembry, Evans’ goal during his recruiting process and basketball career is to “return Baltimore to its once proud tradition of producing quality basketball players, guys such as Carmelo Anthony, Reggie Lewis, Sam Cassell and Rudy Gay.”

Evans first two offers to continue his basketball career come from Tech and St. John's. Evans posted on Twitter about his offer from St. Johns on June 22. Evans will unofficially visit St. John's on Thursday, according to 247Sports.

Evans will begin his freshman season with the Dulaney Lions on Dec. 12 against Friends High School in Baltimore, Md., according to MaxPreps.
