Five things we learned about the Hawks on Monday:

1. Rookie Taurean Prince had 27 points and 14 rebounds in an NBA Development League assignment game with the Long Island Nets Monday. Mike Scott had 18 points and seven rebounds in the game.

2. The NBA review of the Hawks' 114-112 overtime victory over the Spurs Sunday night found that Manu Ginobili should have been called for a personal foul on Mike Muscala before Tim Hardaway Jr.'s game-tying 3-pointer.

3. The son of Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer celebrated in grand style after Hardaway hit the dramatic 3-pointer in the final seconds. The video went viral.

4. Dwight Howard joined a group of three other players tied for fifth in the NBA in technical fouls after he picked up his sixth Sunday night. Kent Bazemore is in a group of six others tied for ninth with five technical fouls. Howard has been fined $13,000 and Bazemore has been fined $10,000. The Thunder's Russell Westbrook leads the NBA with 11 technical fouls. Howard has three flagrant foul points with a FF1 and FF2 this season.

5. The Hawks did not hold a practice Monday after the overtime win. The team opted for a treatment and recovery day. They are scheduled to practice Tuesday before departing for Wednesday's game against the Magic.
