Xavier Avery.

You’re going to remember the Braves outfield prospect for all the wrong reasons  ... thanks to G-Braves teammate Micah Johnson.

Johnson wants everyone to see the check swing that caused Avery to lose his balance and tumble backward coming down .. far ... behind home plate.

Johnson tweeted a viral clip (above) of the incident Tuesday against the Norfolk Tides saying, "STOP ME NOW if you've seen a strikeout like this before. #duckandrun #SCNotTop10 @SportsCenter @MLB @Braves 😂"

It was, he would later tweet, an act of kindness.

Avery, who attended Cedar Grove High School in Clayton County, has had reminders of the fall as witnessed by crime-scene image at Coolray Field.

Johnson, a second baseman acquired in a January trade from the Dodgers, had been on the disabled list most of the season. He was activated last Friday, going 0-for-3 in three games. He was optioned to Gwinnett to clear a spot for Ozzie Albies' promotion to the majors.

But he really doesn’t want you to forget Avery’s swing.
